San Pellegrino Sparkling Water is a lightly sparkling beverage from Italy. San Pellegrino sparkling mineral water is produced and bottled at San Pellegrino Terme in Bergamo Italy. This sparkling mineral water flows from thermal spring found at the foot of the Italian Alps and has a 600 year heritage of which the famous Leonardo da Vinci has been one of its avid aficionado.
The company Sanpellegrino S.p.A. created the bottling plant in 1899, and was led by its president Cesare Mazzoni. From then on San Pellegrino sparkling water with its signature green bottle has become a staple in any elite table worldwide. In 1998, the Nestle Group bought out the company and is now Nestle Waters' flagship brand.
Rich in mineral content of calcium, magnesium, bicarbonate, chloride and sulphate but with low nitrate level, San Pellegrino sparkling water gives out a distinct strong, bold flavor that can perfectly accompany any meals.
