Rhino EQ-304 Whole House Pre-Filter Cartridges

Rhino EQ-304 Whole House Pre-Filter Cartridges prevent the dirt and sediment particles from entering and clogging the main filteration unit.

To make sure your Rhino Whole House Filter System is operating at its best replace your Rhino EQ-304 sediment pre-filters cartridges every 1-3 months.

Pre-Filter Replacement Instructions:

1) Shut off water supply with the ball valve.
2) Relieve water pressure by opening a faucet near the unit.
3) Place a pail under the pre-filter housing to catch excess water. Press the pressure release button repeatedly. Unscrew the pre-filter housing by rotatin the transparent section of the pre-filter housing clockwise.
4) Remove the used catridge, rinse the sump, and place a new cartidge into the sump.
5) Important: Clean the housing o-ring and relubricate it with petroleum jelly or silicone grease. Seat the o-ring into the proper groove and reattach the sump.
6) Slowly turn the water supply back on while checking for leaks. If there are anyleaks, turn off the water supply and retighten connections.
