Pentek CBR2-10R Water Filter Carbon Briquette Multimedia Water Filter cartridge measures 9-3/4" x 2-7/8" (247 mm x 73 mm) and filters fine sediments particles down to 0.5 microns.
The Pentek CBR2-10R replacement filter has a built in flow restrictor which allows for maximum contact time during the filtration process and is protected by Endurawrap™ which increases the life of the water filter by trapping sediments that plugs carbon block filters.
The Pentek CBR2-10R water filter cartridges combine powdered activated carbon (PAC) with a specially designed adsorbent medium through a patented process to reduce the following:
Chlorine through 20,000 gallons
Lead through 2000 gallons
Cysts, MTBE and certain volatile organic chemicals (VOCs)
99.95% reduction of Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Entamoeba and Toxoplasmacysts
Fine sediment particles down to 0.5 microns
Tip: Water will not come out if water filter is in backwards.
